About the speech:

There are many drivers for the transition to renewable energy and regions of the world have pathways that are determined by these drivers.  This presentation will look at scenarios in selected regions of the world, with a particular focus on the UK, contextualising the actions that the UK has taken in recent years and projecting into the future toward targets at 2030 and 2050. The presentation will address power generation, in the main, and work in progress toward the transition with an attempt to summarise the position going forward.
