Overview

Analytical Instrumentation Center, Institute of Coal Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences （http://www.sxicc.cas.cn/jgsz/zcbm/ggjsfwzx/）as a public service platform for internal and external research institutions and enterprises, approaches various testing services in fields of energy, chemical and material and innovative research on new methods of test. In 2016, Analytical Instrumentation Center obtained China Metrology Accreditation and China National Accreditation of laboratory accreditation.

Weibin Fan is director of the center, a senior researcher from “Hundred Talents Project” and Yan Qiao is deputy director, a senior researcher from “Program for introduction of Prominent Technical Talents”. Center staff is a young and vigorous team, which is mainly composed of masters & PhD. Center covers an area of about 1500 m² with 65 sets of instruments and/or equipment worth more than 85 million RMB. All instruments are linked to the online booking system. Center staff have implemented over 16 projects from the National Natural Science Foundation of China, Science Foundation of Shanxi Province of China and Science Foundation of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, published 50 papers in the international journals and applied for over 10 patents. Meanwhile, center has honored with 3 awards from “Chinese analysis test” and Shanxi Province and "May 1 Labor Award" in Shanxi Province.
