应煤炭高效低碳利用全国重点实验室樊卫斌研究员邀请，德国莱布尼兹催化研究所焦海军教授来实验室访问交流，并作题为“Hydrogen Conversion from Energy Molecules ”的学术报告。

　　个人简介：

焦海军，德国莱布尼茨催化研究所教授。1995年于埃尔兰根-纽伦堡大学获理学博士学位。1995-2002年，在埃尔兰根和法国雷恩进行博士后研究。2002-2006年，在德国罗斯托克大学进行物理有机方向“特许任教资格”（Habilitation）研究。长期从事物理有机和无机化学、材料科学、反应机理、均相和多相催化过程中量子化学计算等方面的理论研究工作。在反应机理与过渡态、芳香性、过渡金属催化剂研究与新型材料设计方面有相当的积累，并与实验研究的最新结果密切结合，取得了一系列很有价值的研究成果，已在Nature (1); Nat. Chem (1); Nat. Catal. (3); Nat. Commun. (7); J. Am. Chem. Soc. (38); Angew. Chem. Int. Ed. (34); ACS Catal. (23)等国际著名学术刊物上发表论文480余篇。

报告摘要：

This talk demonstrates the interplay of computational studies and experimental investigations in understanding,characterizing,and rationalizing the reaction mechanisms of pincer complex-catalyzed hydrogenation,dehydrogenation,and transfer hydrogenation reactions. Of particular interest is the realization and confirmation of computationally proposed results by designed experimental work and how computational studies can advance experimental studies.
