个人简介：Professor Christian Marcus Pedersen is Professor of Organic Chemistry at the University of Copenhagen and an internationally recognized researcher in carbohydrate chemistry, synthetic methodology, and sustainable chemical synthesis. His research combines fundamental organic chemistry with modern approaches such as catalysis, mechanochemistry, machine learning, and green chemistry to address challenges in molecular synthesis.

Professor Pedersen's group is particularly known for pioneering machine-learning approaches in carbohydrate chemistry, developing greener glycosylation methods, and advancing catalytic stereoselective glycosylation strategies. His work has attracted significant funding from the Danish Independent Research Fund, the Novo Nordisk Foundation, and the European Union, and he has contributed influential reviews and research papers in the field.
